Warner Family Sports Foundation Announces Inaugural Golf Classic to Support
Youth Sports in Central Florida

Tavares, FL — The Warner Family Sports Foundation is proud to announce its Inaugural Golf Classic, “Fairways Fore Futures,” taking place June 1, 2026 at Harbor Hills Country Club. This signature event will bring together community leaders, local businesses, and supporters to raise critical funds that expand access to youth sports across Central Florida and help to initiate the development of a new athletic center in Tavares.

Founded in 2023, the Warner Family Sports Foundation is dedicated to empowering young athletes by removing financial barriers, providing scholarships, and creating safe, inclusive opportunities for children to participate in sports. The Golf Classic marks the foundation’s first large scale fundraising event and will serve as a cornerstone for future programming.

“Sports have the power to change lives,” said Corey Warner, founder of the Warner Family Sports Foundation and owner of Lake Jem Farms. “This event is more than a day on the course — it’s a chance for our community to come together and invest in the next generation. Every sponsorship, every registration, and every contribution helps a child step onto the field with confidence.”

Local businesses and organizations are invited to participate through a variety of sponsorship levels, each offering meaningful visibility and direct impact on youth athletes. Executive Director Cindi Mainer emphasized the importance of community involvement: “Our mission is rooted in the belief that every child deserves the chance to play, grow, and belong. This Golf Classic allows us to expand our reach and build programs that truly make a difference. We’re grateful for the incredible support already coming in from across Lake and Sumter counties.” Cindi has produced many golf tournaments in the area with much success and has a talented committee well underway.
