Originally from near Madison, WI, I attended the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse. Post-college, I spent 5 incredible years in Boulder, CO, immersing myself in various adventures like downhill skiing, hiking, salsa dancing, and more. Despite loving Colorado, the call to give back led me to join the Peace Corps in 2008. Serving as a Youth Volunteer in the Dominican Republic for 2 years and later in Ecuador for a year was a life-changing experience.
