Sarah serves as the Public Safety Public Information Manager (PIM) for all communications pertaining to police and fire services.
If you recognize Sarah, that's because she served as the Lake, Marion and Sumter County Reporter for News 13 for several years. During her time at News 13, Sarah was Emmy-nominated for team coverage of the Pulse nightclub shooting and also won awards for team coverage of Hurricane Matthew and the 2016 election.
Sarah is honored to work for the Groveland Public Safety Division. She and her dog Molly are also excited to be official Groveland residents!

Mike Smith was elected in November 2017 to fill the council seat representing residents in District 4, which includes the communities of Trilogy, Cherry Lake Estates, Trilogy, Wilson Estates, Arborwood, The Vineyards, Blue Springs Reserve, and various other locations in the Northern part of Groveland.
Councilman Smith represents the City of Groveland on the Florida League of Cities, South Lake Regional Water Cooperative and the Affordable Housing Group. He serves as the city’s alternate member to the Lake-Sumter Metropolitan Planning Organization, South Lake Economic Development Committee, South Lake Task Force MPO, and the Veteran’s Affairs Committee.
