Clermont Periodontics & Implant Center is seeking a Healthcare Treatment Coordinator to join our dedicated, patient-centered team. We specialize in advanced periodontal and implant care, and we’re known for our supportive, collaborative environment where every team member plays a key role in creating confident, healthy smiles.
As a Healthcare Treatment Coordinator, you’ll be the bridge between our clinical team and our patients. You will help patients understand their treatment options, navigate financial arrangements, and ensure each person receives exceptional service from their first phone call to their final follow-up visit. Your organization, communication, and empathy will make you an integral part of the patient experience.
Welcome patients warmly and serve as their primary point of contact for scheduling, treatment, and follow-up.
Present treatment plans clearly and confidently, explaining recommended procedures and financial options.
Verify insurance eligibility and benefits, and coordinate pre-authorizations when needed.
Prepare accurate cost estimates, collect payments, and manage financial arrangements in collaboration with the billing team.
Maintain detailed documentation in Open Dental, ensuring accurate records of consultations, approvals, and payments.
Communicate daily with the clinical team to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient scheduling.
Track unscheduled treatment plans and follow up with patients to encourage completion of recommended care.
Support marketing and patient communication efforts, including referrals and online reviews.
Prior experience in dental or medical front office administration or treatment coordination.
Strong understanding of insurance verification, billing, and patient financing (CareCredit, Cherry, etc.).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on patient education.
Proficiency in Open Dental, Dentrix, or comparable EMR systems.
Background in periodontics, oral surgery, or specialty dental care.
Knowledge of treatment presentation software or digital case presentation tools.
Experience working with patient financing platforms such as Cherry or CareCredit.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
