Position: Decorative Painter

As a Decorative Painter with Artesano Craftsmen, you'll work with materials like Venetian plaster, gold and silver leaf, decorative concrete, and specialty finishes to bring bespoke spaces to life. You’ll be part of a team known for its excellence, precision, and creativity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces through cleaning, sanding, and priming for proper adhesion

• Apply decorative finishes such as Venetian plaster, microcement, and fine paint effects

• Mix materials to achieve custom colors, textures, and finishes

• Follow project specs to meet exacting client and designer standards

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site

• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion

• Perform quality checks and touch-ups as needed

• Take part in ongoing learning and skill development

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of drywall finishing or related experience (decorative finish experience preferred)

• Basic proficiency in surface prep, trowel work, and coatings

• Experience with lime-based plasters or specialty finishes is a plus, not required

• Ability to lift, sand, and trowel for extended periods

• Reliable transportation to and from job sites

• Non-smoker preferred (due to sensitivity of environments)

• Professional attitude, punctuality, and team spirit
