Messiah Concert

This concert will feature “Part 1: The Nativity” from George Frederic Handel’s masterwork, Messiah. Part 1 tells the story of Jesus’ birth, first through the messages of Old Testament prophets, and then through the definitive Gospel texts of Luke chapter 2. The work features four solo vocalists, a choir, and a full baroque-era orchestra. World-renowned conductor, Maestro Pasquale Valerio, will lead this performance, which will feature professional soloists, the Florida Philharmonia Orchestra, and the Opera Orlando Chorus. Handel’s Messiah is a staple of classical music repertoire and an excellent way to kick off the Christmas season. The concert will run about 75 minutes with no intermission. The concert is FREE with a suggested donation of $20 per ticket. General admission only, no reserved seats. Limit 8 tickets per reservation.
